Dog Days

My best friend Jess came into town on Friday and brought her new best friend with - a 5 month old corgi puppy named Tucker. I wanted to show these two a good time, so on Friday afternoon I took them to the Belmont Harbor Dog Beach where our friends Alanna and Kelly met us to meet and play with the little guy for the first time. I'm not sure I've ever seen a happier or more well behaved puppy.

Their visit was too short, I miss them both already! While writing this blog I couldn't help but think about the Florence and the Machine song "Dog Days". I realize this song has nothing to do with house pets... but the dog days are over and the dog days are done... (for now).
