Love Is in the Air

Kelly has been one of my best friends for the past 13 years, and each year we grow closer and closer. We have been through so much together, and I'm so excited to stand with her as she says her vows to Dominic on May 21st! 

Kelly is so many things. She's loyal, kind, passionate, and one of the funniest people I've ever met! She's also a very talented artist. She's good at everything from ceramics to drawing to photography. With that said, I'm sure if Kelly could take her own engagement photos she would. Since that's nearly an impossible task, she asked me to do it for her! 

I was honored, excited, and nervous about this opportunity. For those of you that have read my blog before, you know that taking portraits is a relatively new thing for me (examples here & here). However, my nerves quickly settled when I saw how natural these two are in front of the camera. I had so much fun capturing their engagement, because they are so clearly happy and in love! While going through and editing these photos, I found that I could not stop smiling! I'm even getting a little teary eyed as I write this... which is a sure sign that I'm going to need some tissues on hand during the ceremony.
