Tour de Fat 2012

Tour de Fat is one of my favorite events to attend every year. It's a beer/carnival/sustainability/music/bike festival hosted by New Belgium Brewing. Over the past 5 years I've attended Tour de Fat in Arizona, Wisconsin, and - of course - Chicago, Illinois. This year's tour did not disappoint. The event reportedly raised over $24,000 for West Town Bikes, a local shop that supports the cause to help "put kids on bikes".

The entertainment was very impressive. The skits performed by the New Belgium staff were hysterical to say the least, and the live entertainment was probably the best I've seen from this tour to date. Overall it was a great time and I can't wait for the tour to roll into town next year.

Who doesn't love an excuse to dress in costume, ride a bike, and drink beer?
