Berlin & Paris... Next Week!

So this is happening...

Next Friday I will be on my way to meet Shay in Berlin as he's wrapping up his conference with WebVisions. We'll be spending 4 full days in Berlin and then 4 full days in Paris. We are so, so excited to explore two new cities together!

I've been in major planning mode as of recently. Somehow this trip has crept up on me, I literally don't know where the time went. While this is a good thing, because I'll be on vacation soon (and usually the count-down to vacation drags)... I feel slightly behind with our plans for each city.

I think I have all of the touristy stuff figured out, I just haven't had much time to do research on great "off the beaten path" stuff, like: cool shops, restaurants, and bars. I've recently started digging into some blogs. I've found some great advice on Thrillist and World of Wanderlust. Of course, Yelp, Pinterest, and Twitter have come in handy as well by linking me up with some things to do.

However, I always get the best advice from friends, family, and trusted acquaintances. So, do you have any advice or suggestions for what we should/shouldn't do in Berlin and Paris? I would really appreciate the input!

As always, I'll blog about our adventures when we return, and I'll put together a map of all the places we went in case you ever need it in the future :)
